This July, the IRCAD North America (IRCAD NA) team exhibited at the Society of Robotic Surgery (SRS) conference, held in Strasbourg, France. The occasion marked a significant moment of connection and collaboration within the global robotic surgery community and the global community of IRCAD, as representatives from all nine IRCAD sites around the world gathered to share advancements, expertise, and the latest in surgical innovation.
Executive Director of IRCAD NA and professor of transplant surgery at Wake Forest University School of Medicine, Dionisios Vrochides, MD, was joined in Strasbourg by Katheryn Peterson, MBA, Director of Course Logistics, and Elizabeth Israel, Head of Communications and Outreach. The group exhibited at the SRS conference as part of the IRCAD global booth, engaging with leading experts and attendees eager to learn about the new IRCAD North America facility.
During their stay, the team also visited IRCAD France and joined the IRCAD International Summit, further strengthening ties with international colleagues and exchanging insights on research, training, and the rapidly evolving landscape of surgical technology. A highlight of the visit was the opportunity to meet with representatives from all other IRCAD sites, fostering a spirit of global collaboration and unity.
The IRCAD North America team looks forward to welcoming the next generation of surgical innovators, building on the legacy of excellence established by IRCAD’s global network.
