IRCAD North America hosted the 14th Annual AHPBA HPB Fellows Course from November 8-10, 2025, welcoming the next generation of hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB) surgeons for an intensive, hands-on learning experience. The program featured interactive lab sessions led by expert faculty and comprehensive lectures on robotic surgery techniques, including hepatectomy, cholecystectomy, Whipple procedures, and more.

Participants also had the unique opportunity to view live surgical cases streamed directly from Atrium Health hospitals, performed by course directors Dr. Erin Baker and Dr. John Martinie. In addition to advanced surgical training, the course offered lectures on professional development and strategies for launching a successful career as an HPB surgeon, underscoring IRCAD NA’s commitment to advancing surgical education and leadership in the field.
