IRCAD North America was delighted to host BReCON 2026 in Charlotte on April 17–18, welcoming a global community of clinicians, researchers, and innovators focused on advancing care for individuals with upper limb loss.

Centered on the future of integrated upper limb surgical and prosthetic innovation, this dynamic two-day event brought together surgeons, therapists, prosthetists, engineers, and mental health professionals for meaningful learning and collaboration.

Attendees participated in multidisciplinary panels, case-based breakout sessions, keynote addresses, and research presentations, all designed to explore leading-edge approaches in amputation surgery, prosthetic technology, rehabilitation, and whole-person care.

With 48 industry-leading speakers, 15 CME credit hours, and more than 200 attendees expected from around the world, BReCON 2026 created an inspiring environment for education, innovation, and shared purpose.

We were honored to welcome this important event to IRCAD North America and to provide a space where experts from across disciplines could come together to help shape the future of bionic reconstruction.
